The Fil-AM Ministry promotes love, peace, friendship, unity, and concern among the Filipino-American Parishioners. The group inspires the Filipino-Americans in our Parish to maintain their spiritual heritage and provides opportunities for involvement and service through a variety of traditional Filipino observances, including Sambang Gabi (during Advent), First Friday Masses in Tagalog, the SantaCruzan (annual devotion to Mary in May) and the Pabasa (during Lent). Members of the Filipino Ministry seek to deepen their spiritual lives through Eucharistic celebrations that are unique and distinct to Filipino values, beliefs, and traditions. The Fil-Am Ministry is active all year long in a variety of service and fellowship venues. Filipino Mass is held at 7 PM on the first Friday of the month in the Daily Chapel followed by a fellowship potluck in the General Flynn Social Hall.
The Fil-Am Ministry welcomes everyone in our parish to the activities and celebrations they sponsor throughout the year. If you are a Filipino-American new to our parish, they extend a special invitation to you and seek to provide a hospitable environment for you and your family. Come be a part of this vibrant part of our family.
