“Therefore I tell you, all that what you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours.”

Mark 11:24

Parents in Prayer (PIP) is a group that meets once a week. Due to the pandemic, we are meeting via Zoom at Fridays at 7:50 a.m. Email Michelle Corcia for the Zoom info.

In nonpandemic times, we meet prior to the Friday morning 8:30 a.m. all-school Mass to pray the Rosary followed by the Divine Mercy Chaplet. We pray for the intentions of Holy Family Catholic School, our principal, Sr. Dorothy and Vice Principal, Mr. Hamm, our teachers, our families, our priests, deacons and all those in the parish, state, country and world.

In addition to being dedicated to praying to the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet, on First Fridays, we pray the devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

PIP has also begun a new prayer program during the 2019-2020 school year called Prayer Partners. PIP Prayer Partners prayers for all of our teachers and staff. Prayers are prayed by the partners all year long and for all their intentions.

“Some people are so foolish that they think they can go through life without the help of the Blessed Mother. Love the Madonna and pray the rosary, for her Rosary is the weapon against the evils of the world today. All graces given by God pass through the Blessed Mother.”

St. Padre Pio

Mother Mary and Jesus have grown our group of dedicated prayer warriors. We now also offer a Coffee Morning with Sr. Dorothy once a month! Our group meets with Sr. Dorothy, who leads us in Catholic inspirational guidance based on our Catholic liturgical calendar.

“No one can live continually in sin and continue to say the Rosary: either they will give up sin or they will give up the Rosary.”

Bishop Hugh Doyle

So many saints have been dedicated to the Holy Rosary … wars have been won and avoided through praying the Rosary. But it is all in God’s time. Remember that you will have Our Blessed Mother as your friend and Heavenly Mother ready and always willing to come to your aid showering you with graces if you take up the sword of the Rosary!
