The Holy Family Parish Council was formed and met for the first time in February of 2017. As stated in our By-Laws, our purpose is to:
- Provide advice and consultation to the Pastor in carrying out the mission of the Parish and in matters related to the Pastor’s responsibility for the effective operation of the Parish;
- Foster communication between the Parish community and the Pastor and among the different parts of the Parish community;
- Enhance harmonization and well-being of the Parish Ministries; and
- Promote worship and service throughout the Parish.
While the Parish Council does not have decision-making authority, we serve as additional eyes and ears for the Pastor. The Parish Council meets once a month, generally on the second Thursday. Most of the members of the Parish Council also become members of one or more committees that have been tasked with implementing the Parish’s strategic plan.
Please contact any of the below members (in person, via phone or email) or attend a monthly meeting to share your concerns or suggestions on how we can improve our beloved faith community!
Interested in serving on the Parish Council? Every year in early Spring, we seek nominations for those interested in serving. Just watch the Sunday bulletin or this website for announcements regarding the nomination process.
