Fr. Martin H. M. Nguyen, JCL: Parochial Administrator

Fr. Martin Nguyen was born and raised in the South of Vietnam. On June 15, 2006, he arrived in Orlando as an International student and shortly graduated from Dr. Phillips High School. He entered St. John Vianney College Seminary in Miami and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. In 2016, he graduated from St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary with a Master Degree in Divinity. On May 28, 2016, Bishop John Noonan ordained him to the priesthood and assigned him to St. James Cathedral as a Parochial Vicar.

Two years after ordination, Bishop Noonan asked Fr. Martin to go for further study for a Licentiate Degree in Canon Law at the Catholic University of America. Meanwhile, Fr. Martin was also assigned as Parochial Administrator of St. Paul Catholic Community in Leesburg, Florida on August 1, 2019.

As of June 14, 2021, Fr. Martin returned to Holy Family Catholic Church, his home parish, as its new Parochial Administrator. Being a homecoming, Fr. Martin looks forward to serving and caring for the community that has nourished his vocation and where he has always proudly called “Home.”
